This is more comprehensive and more mathematically sophisticated, and does not describe physical applications in any detail. Z-Q. Ma, Group Theory for Physicists, World Scientific (2007). Quite comprehensive. P. Ramond, Group Theory: A Physicist’s Survey. (CUP, 2010). A new book. Excellent and original style. Contains significant material beyond the course.
